All About Cloth Diapers

All In One or AIO or AI2 Reusable Diaper - the most like a disposable!

An AIO diaper was traditionally made of an outer fabric that is waterproof an absorbant sewn-in soaker and another piece of fabric covering the soaker. The benefit of an AIO - is that it is just that - 1 piece - very easy to use, easy on and off. The draw back of the AIO is they can take longer to dry than other cloth diapers.

Thirsties AIO Pocket Diapers have a pocket that you can stuff additional inserts in for added absorbancy.

We also offer you Canadian made Berry Plush AI2 diapers. The AI2 is designed with a snap in soaker that is tri-fold design - so they dry faster than traditional AIO's. These are so easy to use! You can reuse the cover if it is not soiled - just snap in another soaker.

Fitted Diapers - natural fibres and excellent breathability.

A fitted diaper is made of an absorbant fabric and does not have an outer layer that is waterproof. You will need to use a waterproof cover over a fitted diaper so that your babies clothes stay dry. Many people like fitted diapers because they are typically made with all natural fibres and are very breathable. You can choose a Wool or PUL cover. Our fitted diaper is the Baby Beehinds One Size Fitted Diaper. You can choose the hemp or bamboo blend. Both hemp and bamboo are extremely absorbant and hemp has antibacterial qualities as well.

Both the wool and pul covers are extremely breathable and can be reused before washing (please see guidelines). This unique one size diaper was designed to fit most babies from newborn to toddler.

Pocket Diapers and One Size Pocket Diapers - Ease of Use and flexibilty!

Pocket diapers are a 2 part system. Part 1 - The Shell - is constructed of an inner layer made of fleece and an outer layer of PUL. There is an opening at the back of the diaper where - Part 2 - The Insert - gets put into the diaper - the insert can be made of anything that will absorb wetness - but is usually microfibre, hemp, bamboo or cotton. The PUL (poly uratheane laminate) is a waterproof fabric that is still breathable - it keeps the wetness in.
